The Monarch Butterfly Doorbell Ringer is cast in solid bronze using the age old art of foundry casting. The Monarch Butterfly is given a statuary oiled bronze finish, highlighted by hand and coated with a clear lacquer to protect its original finish. The oiled bronze finish is attained by successively dipping raw bronze castings into a patina solution and then buffing them to a satin finish. With the repetition of this process Michael creates the rich, dark multi-tone finish of his Oiled Bronze. It has been signed by the artist, Michael Healy, to confirm its authenticity and quality craftsmanship. The Monarch Butterfly Doorbell Ringer was designed to capture this beautiful creature at rest by your front door.
