This M S International Inc Piedra Roja Ceramic Floor and Wall Tile features a skid-resistant design and is highly resistant to abrasion, making it suitable for heavy-duty floor installations in residential or commercial environments, such as kitchens, entryways or sales rooms and other display spaces. The textured surface has a glazed finish highlighting the variegated pattern and subtle differences in tone, giving the piece a rustic look to suit any space. The slip resistance of the tile is suitable for outdoor use but being non-vitreous it is recommended for indoor use.
- Grade 1, ceramic tile for floor and wall use
- 17 in. long x 17 in. wide x 5/16 in. thick
- Glazed textured finish with a low sheen and a slight variation in tone
- P.E.I. Rating IV has high resistance to abrasion and is suitable for heavy-duty residential and commercial floor installations, such as entrances, commercial kitchens, hotels and exhibition and sales rooms with some dirt conditions
- Non-vitreous tile has water absorption of more than 7% for indoor use
- Slip-resistance/Coefficient of Friction rating of .60 - .79 wet is skid resistant for indoor and outdoor use and is required for commercial applications to meet or exceed ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) Guidelines
- Recommended for indoor use; use a latex-modified thinset for acceptable bond strength
